I'll take a look at my pattern editor when I get home tonight. Which version are you using?

Hey Sky... I'm going to assume that you have a way to get rhythm.seq files out of your PC and into your Zoom.
First, you have to open an existing .seq file. I have one saved on my hard drive just for this purpose. Once it's open, use the 'pull-down' list and select one of the 'empty' slots... for my MRS802, the empty slots starts at #403.
Write your pattern, use the Generate and Save Pattern iten on the File menu. That ought to do it. If you want, rename it (under the Pattern Menu).
Then it's just a matter of stuffing your new .seq file into your Zoom.

seq files
Ok I have a rhythm.seq. I edit it and save it as an empty number? say 499? How does one get it onto the zoom. When I plug in the sd card (this is an MRS8) it sees the rhythm.seq and plays i fine. Will it just overwrite say 499 or is there an import? thanks

Hey Sky, with the card, all you need to do is choose the project you want to work with, overwrite the rhytm.seq file with the new one you created on your pc.
I think you can probably work right on the card, too. Use the Patt Ed to open a project file that's on the card. Then adjust it as necessary. When you hit the generate and save button (which you need to do for every pattern you edit), it will overwrite the .seq that's on the card.
