Post by tonyoci » Sun Aug 24, 2014 1:06 am

We're back. Tony was bullied into it by Zoetrope. Dave will return next week.

Lots of chit/chat,, feel free to FF, and some great home recorded songs.

Hey!

This is great that HMHS is back! Especially since one of MY tunes is on it! lol

I have misplaced the RSS feed address for HMHS and cannot find it on the site anywhere.

Can someone help?

Thanks!

It's here

I added it back to the page but since I moved provider and blogger changed a bunch of stuff I'm having some trouble :) I did get this episode to load as a podcast.

Thanks!

And by the way... It is a REAL harmonica played by me with minimal edits in the recording. :-)

What is "Home Recording Blanket" / "HMHs"? Inquiring minds (relative newcomers like me) want to know.

It would be great to see this forum return to the zeal it once had just a few years back when we were a sort of online "community". This is one attempt to get it back to that state. Kudos to Zo and Tony. I hope you can make this work. You have my promise, I will be listening.

But when your sig is four times longer than your post, we are all in trouble.

Hey, I just listened and man that first song by Dave is depressingly great! Congratulations Dave.

I missed the old times of the show so I am curious to see how this will work out.

Are there some rules to play?

Not really much in the way of rules. I've tended to not play instrumentals or anything particularly offensive (arguable given some of my own songs) but beyond that anything goes.

Email me the song, try to include either a written or recorded intro about the songwriting and equipment used, and we go from there.

Wow, I really didn't think it was ever going to happen either! I’m listening now and can’t believe I’m actually hearing this… this is awesome.

Tony is recording at the beach and I've just been wasting away on one. 8)
You guys are really great together. Funny stuff!

It took some arm twisting. :D
Glad you enjoyed the show. I agree, nice to hear the show again, despite my best efforts to destroy it with endless banter.
