Tony
My first listen to one of your shows and i am impressed.
I even like the little edit you put in there before Alex and RC's song.
I couldn't vote as my favorite was the bit of guitar work at the 13 minute mark :D
Great selection of songs and credit to the performaers also.
Looking forward to more now.
Keep up the good work

Definitely a hit show, Tony. I also like the splice in of the Alex into, and how you compared his version to RC's. Top notch stuff on your part (and their parts). Zoe's song was mesmerizing as usual from him (hmm...is that a MicroKorg filling up the background so well - why don't *I* have one of those yet  ). All the songs flowed together well, and your voice overs had a good, enticing feeling to me, like you were really talking to the listener. I think you're making good progress loosening up from podcast 1, making your audience feel more comfortable coming along with you for the ride.

Another winner. Thanks for adding me to the mix.

Jeffster, yup, lots of microKorg burbling in the background, plus some E-bow.

Burbling? I think the last time I encounterd that word was in Jabberwocky By Lewis Carroll:

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

Another great show, Tony!!! It's really fun to listen to your shows every new time!!!
Great song selection, fantastic recording qualities!!!

I wasn't very delighted by the idea of having two different versions of the same song within one and the same show, but well, that might be just my humble opinion.

Anyway, you did a great job again!!!
I would be curious to know how many listeners you've gotten by now!?!?
It's really fun listening to your speakin', it feels very personal to the listener!! I've heard much worse moderating from official SoundPlanet DJs!!!

 :metal: :music: :sing: :^:

Actually, I thought I was making up a new word, but both Mr. Carroll and Mr. Webster beat me to it:
Main Entry: 1bur·ble
Pronunciation: 'b&r-b&l
Function: intransitive verb
Inflected Form(s): bur·bled; bur·bling /-b(&-)li[ng]/
Etymology: Middle English
1 : BUBBLE
2 : BABBLE, PRATTLE

I'm having problems with downloading through itunes. I wanna put it on the pod. I've tried many times and will get there eventually. Its the crappy old computer I'm using. I'm sure it will be great as always when I get there.

Another great show - very high quality content. A hard call to vote: for me it was between the Why Today cover and Blue Illusion. The performance of Why Today was very good, but my vote went the other way because Blue Illusion is a singer/songwriter original, rather than a cover.
