Hello, Everybody

Post by Hugo » Thu Apr 06, 2006 8:20 am

I've enjoyed corresponding with Tony since encountering a request he made for submissions at another forum, and have contributed a few things which have made it into the show. Thanks, Tony! You're a gentleman and a scholar...

I record at home with a Roland VS-2480CD. I play everything when I have to, but recently have enjoyed collaborations and I am probably breaking a number of laws (both physical and legislated) when attempting to play drums, so here is a public apology for that disturbing indiscretion. SORRY!

I should mostly be writing & recording right now, but have been enjoying myspace for finding new music and new correspondents. Due to time constraints, I've turned off notifications from this forum, but will plan on checking back periodically (mostly when new shows are posted). If anybody REALLY wants to communicate in a meaningful way with me, I'd encourage you to do so through:

I think Tony's show idea is a really good one, and I've enjoyed listening to every episode. I'll admit to sometimes skipping a song after a verse if it doesn't grab me - but I have enjoyed repeated listens to most episodes in their entirety.

I've suggested to Tony that he include a brief home-recording-based interview in each show, but he's told me his "market research" precluded that from happening. I still crave it, though, and invite any similar-minded folks to pester The Man til it happens...

Viva la HMHS! Magnifique!! And don't forget: Show Us Your HITS!!

Once a week Tony climbs on his roof and shouts to the world: "SHOW US YOUR HITS!"

I'll second the interview idea, I think it would be fun.

Well this market research has a name. You could have said, "Hugo, Rick says it's a no-go, and goodness knows, he's always right."

I am not a number. I am a man. The Prisoner
