I got a Line 6 GX, like this one--
http://alejka.pl/line-6-pod-studio-gx-i ... o-usb.html
at a garage sale. No installation disk. Couldn't find anywhere online to DL drivers or whatever it needs. So, it doesn't do anything.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: Line 6 GX -- software?
This device uses a unified Pod driver that is common to all the many Pod devices. There are two drivers with one specific to the Mac operating system and the other specific to Windows operating systems. The newest Windows driver was released in 2013. The newest Mac driver in 2014. Drivers can be downloaded from the Line 6 website.
By itself it is an audio interface. When it was sold it was packaged with Pod Farm V2.5.

Re: Line 6 GX -- software?
Thanks, Jim. I've always recorded using a Marshall amp emulated out (to a Zoom HD16), or a miked amp, so this kind of technology is new to me, but I'd like to give this gizmo a try.
Just to make sure, what I need is this, right?
http://line6.com/software/index.html
Select 'Pod farm 2' and 'Windows 7,'
check 'Archived,'
the one at the top, v2.50?
If that's right, I'll read the manual, and hopefully won't have to bother anybody with silly questions!
Thanks again.

For future reference, you might want to ask anything about Line6 gear here. > http://line6.com/support/forum/14-community-support/
