PODxt fried but resurrected

Post by Macca » Mon Jun 05, 2006 2:46 pm

Hey,

So I got a voicemail today from Line6. As some of you may know, I sent my PODxt to their UK service centre as it had just stopped working.
I suspected that I might have fried it by touching the RJ45 socket that is used for add on pedals with the USB cable that was already connected to my PC>
Well, I was correct.
Line6 have had to replace pretty much most of the components by the sound of it but they have fixed it and its up and going apparently. Their fee? A reasonable £45 (~$90).

Has anyone had to send back a Zoom product at all to get serviced? What was the charge?

Just gotta get back to the UK and use it!

That Zoom story would be under warranty, whereas Mr Mac is not under warranty and neither is his POD
