Zoom H4n Data Write Error

Post by Eldon Benge » Mon Mar 13, 2017 9:14 am

Sometimes, not always, when I finish a track, the display says "DATA WRITE ERROR." But the track seems fine when I transfer it to my computer.

Any ideas as to what is causing this?

A flaky SD card would be my first point of attack.

When was the last time you did a full format of the memory card? Or try a new card completely.
