:?: Question for Kewl or other Facebook users, What Facebook groups are you aware of that focus on Zoom products, audio recording or audio production? I'm not a Facebook subscriber so I'm a little in the dark about what groups are available.

I wish they wouldn't open such groups on Fakebook. There are enough sites where you can run free discussion mailing lists without selling your soul and all your private information to the devil. I'm a member of a mailing list running on https://groups.io and it works like a charm.

Like it or not, Facebook has many more visitors than any group or forum likely ever will.

What Raif is calling a mailing list is also known as a group. Unfortunately It appears to me the popularity of both groups and forums are declining. This forum gets nowhere near the amount of message threads posted that it did just a few years ago.

I was a moderator and owner of a Zoom group powered by Yahoo from 2007 to 2014. Even though Yahoo had Groups for years before Facebook became popular and Google went head-to-head, neither have been unable to unseat Facebook. The group closed in 2014 due to lack of interest. If you're interested in visibility and popularity as well as access to a huge audience, you have to have a presence on Facebook.
