Recording to H4n from band mixing desk

Recording to H4n from band mixing desk

I can record direct to the inputs from an older mixing desk bit our gig mixing desk only has a usb out no Phono connectors. How can I record stereo front of house mix ? The desk is a yamaha mgu18. All suggestions grstefully received.

Welcome to the forum!

I searched the Yamaha USA website but can not find any documentation for a Yamaha MGU18. Please check the model number.

If the mixer has rear panel sends or a buss connections you may be able to use a spare set of one or the other for a stereo out line feed.
