Source for drum loops and Cubase

I bought a R24 unit off of Ebay that doesn't have either of the 2 loop collections nor the cubase software. Would anyone know where I could download/obtain these products or should I even bother? I understand building a drum track with the loops can be time consuming.

I don't have the R24, I have the HD16CD, but I would suggest you try contacting Zoom support to see if you can download or purchase the software. Personally, I really liked Cubase and used the "free" version until I ran into problems. Now, I find myself using Audacity (free), or Reaper (low cost) more than Cubase. As for drum loops, I am a big fan of EZDrummer, which is not free, but I find it much better than any drum machine I ever had and it plugs into my DAW's as a VST track. The HD16 has built in drum loops, but they come up short compared to EZDrummer, IMHO. I don't know how good the R24 drum loops are to use. Best wishes.
