Hello Everyone

I'm new here.
I guess this has probably been posted before, but I thought it wouldbe worth a try.
I have a zoom r16 which i'm trying to run with logic pro 9 on my macbook.
My osx is 10.6.8 however none of the the drivers on the zoom site are compatible.
I've been in contact with zoom but they say they no longer have any drivers for my OS.
Does anyone have a driver available please? I think i'm looking for version 1.2.0.

Yes, it seems the official Zoom drivers for Mac begin at 10.9....maybe someone's using an earlier one and could send it to you via email ?

I think I can help you. I recently found a Snow Leopard compatible R16 driver for my old macbook, though I haven't used it yet as the R16 belongs to a friend. Give me your email and I'll send it to you. Mine is

Cheers, Simon

Hey - was searching for compatiabilty issues with a new Macbook Pro (with Touch Bar), and wondered if the R16 is compatible with Logic 10.3.2....

I have 10.2.3 on my old MBP and it works fine, but really wanna get it going on my newer MBP...

I did get one of these cable ... B00VKSF39O

I was looking for a solution and think I've found one (not tested yet)

With Macbook Pro (with Touch Bar), in High Sierra, there's a setting in Privacy that blocks new connections from hardware devices.

On my machine, it reads "Zoom Audio" I believe. Click Allow and your interface should pop up and be used in your DAW.

Hope this is helpful to others out there with newer Mac Operating Systems.

Peace :music:

Tried the above method, and still didn't work :(

still looking for a way to get the R16 recognized by High Sierra (with a usb-c to usb-b cable)

Have you solved the problem with High Sierra compatibility?
