UAC-2 manufacturer warranty

Post by Merlin5 » Wed Nov 08, 2017 10:20 pm

Hi all. I bought a Zoom UAC-2 in August 2016 but never used it, I only opened the box. I sold it today for half the current price, so he got a bargain. Anyway, the retailer's warranty was 12 months so obviously that has expired. But I'm just wondering if there would still be any manufacturer warranty with Zoom themselves that I could inform the buyer of should he ever need to use it?

What's a "UAC-2"...

You posted in a category for Zoom's later multi-track recorder/mixers (HD and R series; the older MRS has its own category).

I'll post it in 'All other Zoom Gear' then. Having done a global forum search I can't believe there's only one other thread that even mentions the UAC-2, and that was posted in this forum.

Googling for UAC-2 reveals it is just an audio interface for computer so, yes, "other" would be the best location for it. If it had recording capability on-board (the F4 and F8) then the H-series field recorders category might have been applicable.
