Conect zoom R8 to ipad pro

Hallo guys...i am going to buy an ipad pro for my new step in portable recording......is that possible to conect i pad pro with zoom R8 (as sound card and midi controller ) for garage band or cubasis?? Thx b4

Unfortunately, the Audio Interface manual is on the supplied SD card -- so I don't have a copy to study. {UPDATE: appears Zoom NA has it on the web site -- though it focuses on Cubase install}

There is no mention of usage on anything other than Windows or Macintosh in either manual.

This is in contrast to the H5 manual which does explicitly state usage with iPad via "iPad Camera Connection Kit". I believe the H5 is the only device that currently can be used as an audio interface with an iPad (and since it is a field recorder rather than a proper multi-track mixer/recorder, it does not offer control surface mode).
