R24 and miro SD card
Any reason why a Micro SDHC class10 card and adaptor can't be used instead of a standard SD card in a Zoom R24?

Who says so?
I use a Micro SDHC with adapter all the time.

Try finding 1GB CompactFlash cards

The old BOSS BR-600 (and my digital cameras) use CF cards, and the BR-600 can't address cards larger than 1GB (I've not encountered a limit on the cameras yet, but only run up to 16GB with those)

Re: R24 and miro SD card
My Zoom MRS-8 can use first generation 128 MB to 1GB full size SD cards so I feel your pain Wulfraed. Luckily I bid and won a lot of 12 1 GB cards. I formatted, tested and verified each one so I have plenty.
