could be a quick fix for zoom g5n

Post by robertdonithan » Sat Oct 08, 2016 10:04 am

I had noticed that the g5n was automatically saving parameter or effects changes to a patch, so I went to menu-settings-setup and turned auto save off..after creating new patches and generally fooling around the g5n started sounding different. Like muddy or on the verge of feedback, just didn't sound clear and professional anymore..So I thought worn out strings, cables worn maybe I burned out something when experimenting with n impedance transformer or my di box..So yesterday I thought well, with a smartphone, all you have to do is shut it down and reboot it to solve problems so why not do this with the g5n..I performed the factory reset and it cleared right back up..nice new tones like when it was new...
