connecting Zoom Q2n to an Ipad

Post by johnjbixler » Tue Aug 22, 2017 1:00 pm

Hello, I am trying to connect my Q2n video camera to my IPad so that I can have a bigger screen when recording and playback. I have a connect that will connect my camera to my IPad but my IPad says that my accessory pulls to much power and will not connect. I need a way to connect the two while having my camera receive power from the USB at the same time. The Q2n only has one USB port and the Ipad only has one Lightning port. So how can I connect the two and power the camera at the same time? Also, do I need IPad software for the Zoom camera?

Any help would be greatly appreciate, even if only to say it can't be done.

I can connect my Zoom camera to my laptop and my TV (via HDMI port).

Perform a search for a "USB Y Cable". Here is an example: https://www.amazon.com/HIGHROCK-Enhance ... B00NIGO4NM :wiggle:
