Hi all, anyone tried it on linux?
I am planning to format my pc to some linux distribution, but i am afraid i will face some problems with eLicenser Control Center, ZOOM Guitar Lab and Cubase LE AI Elements 8 64bit if i am not using windows.

Thanks for your opinion!

So Cubase ( and the elicenser) will only work in Windows. If you format your hard drive and install Linux, then windows will be gone and Cubase won't work.

So forget all about that nonsense. In Linux, there are other software packages available that are every bit as powerful as Cubase is.

I suggest you go to bandshed.net and get their latest greatest AVLinux 2017. Download it as an ISO, burn it to DVD and then reboot your computer. This will be a live environment that you can work in and check it out without messing up your windows install.

I will say that I do have a Windows computer, in fact, Im using it now. but all my recording and music stuff is on AVLinux which is networked with my windows computer.
The Linux box is a 2 core 4GB ram which boots and works faster than my 4 core 16gb ram windows machine.

AVLinux is a free download with no strings attached, so you should try it out.
