Hello,
I have a problem with my Zoom G5 unit.
I bought a pair of AKG K240 Studio(55 Ohm) to use with the G5. Much to my surprise the output volume is very very low as I would expect.
The heaphones volume is good when hooked to my phone, or another audio source.
If I use the tube booster, the volume increases a bit but the sound becomes heavily distorted and that is not an option. In GLOBAL my settings are set to direct.
Is there some trick I don't know?
The heaphone specs are:
Headphone type semi-open
Max. Input Power 200 mW
Audio frequency bandwidth 15 - 25000 Hz
Sensitivity headphones 104 dB SPL/V
Rated Impedance 55 Ohms
The Zoomg G5 headphone output is:
Phone Standard stereo phone jack
Maximum output level: 20 mW + 20 mW (into 32 Ω load)
I am not that experienced with it technical specs.
Thank you
Zoom G5 very low headphone volume

Re: Zoom G5 very low headphone volume
I would seek out different headphones that more closely match the Zoom G5 headphone jack specs. The ones you have don't match impedance or power wise.
