Compressing Q2n Files

Post by malc67 » Thu May 23, 2019 3:52 am

Hello folks,
I love my Q2n and use it for videoing our band rehearsals. Once I have captured the footage I will edit it down on my home pc using Windows Movie Maker then email my band mates with the final cut. This is sent using the footage in full bandwidth and it takes ages to upload and send.
What I was wondering is does someone know the best way of compressing the files to make them easier to email and open at he other end? I have absolutely no idea what to do, but if someone else knows and points me in the right direction I would be very grateful.

Thanks

Malc

You might try editing in Shotcut https://shotcut.org/ which will offer more options for your render of the edited files.

Another option is Handbrake https://handbrake.fr/ a standalone transcoder.
