PS-04 Cheat Sheet

I've condensed most of the manual down to 2 pages, which can be downloaded from HERE (right click and choose "save link target as"). It's an RTF file which should open in any word processor on any platform. It will also open in most browsers if you just click the link. If you have trouble opening it let me know. Obviously, you should read the manual first, or this will just be confusing. Oh yeah, it also helps if you have a PS-04

[EDIT 7/15/09: Current version of the cheat sheet is at tools/PS-04-cheat.PDF

I've updated the cheat sheet, it's still at the same place as before. Any suggestions for changes, corrections, or improvements appreciated.

Thanks to the efforts of LeftyXBuffalo (aka Richard) there is now a one page 3 column PDF version of the cheat sheet here.

The link to the PS04 cheat sheet is not working. Does anyone have this anymore?

I looked through many pages and couldn't find out if the PS04 can loop a track (I read that the 02 can't loop, other than bass/drum - is the 04 the same?)

I'm not sure which Cheat Sheet you mean. I have saved a copy of the 12 Bar Blues tutorial, if that's what your looking for?

On Page 39 in the PS-04 Manual it tells you how to set what they call "A - B Repeat" I.E. you set a starting point "A" and end point "B". So, when you get to B your playback starts over from A. It's not a true loop as some would have it, since you get a slight hesitation when it rewinds to A. But, it's always worked fine for this old man when trying to develope a solo or practicing riffs.

Have Fun...

Hi folks, I just recently picked up a PS04. As always, I'm a bit late to the game. Would anyone still have a copy of the cheat sheet pdf? None of the above links are working.

Phil, thanks so much for the links. I've only tinkered with the ps04 so I'm sure the cheat sheet will come in handy.

Cheers,
Eddie

Thanks, Zoetrope! I am neo-retro by nature. I'm sure others are the same.

We are still getting use out of it. Just downloaded today. The old brain and eyes were not what they used to be. A quick reference sheet is ideal. Thanks Roy
