I see, well, I don't really but I'm sure it all makes sense.

Here's a translated version:
Damn me. When I canceled my fall tour, I said I still owed myself a live album, but I only had six songs recorded. So I looked at my 2009 "For Better or Worse" live LP and said it had 15 songs on it and that that was too many. So I removed four songs off of that LP and slapped them on with my six most recent live recordings and called the "new" album "Some Old, Some New - The Cracks Live Volume Two". When I protested, I asked what was I so upset about? I reminded myself that nobody listens to this crap anyway and, besides, "you are the record company".

Oh well, it meets my goals that I set for myself and frees me up to write some new songs for 2012.

Here is the new live album "Some Old, Some New" on Bandcamp:

And here is the old "For Better or Worse":

Yes, I did get that, thank you.

My puzzlement lies elsewhere ...

Now I'm puzzled. Ah, well. Transatlantic communication at its finest?

My latest bandcamp "album" is complete. I call it:

2012

The album contains a previously unreleased song called "I'm Your Man". I could never get the mix the way I wanted it but, considering the record company ( ) wanted the new album out by the end of the year, I patched it up as best I could and slapped it on the record. (The song contains adult themes and language, so you might not want any kids around if you play it.)

Here is my first 3P called:

"Crash Landing Into the Future".

It's a 3P. Did I say that already? :hilarious: I love this concept.

I have a question to the bandcamp users:

I have set my album now on bandcamp, and can choose a "featured song" that plays as default. Well, I have put "the hit single" on no 3. on the album. Now if I choose that song as the "featured song", then obviously most visitors will miss out on the carefully planned build up of the album. But if use the first song as the "featured song", then maybe they don't even get to the "hit single", and I might miss out on - well - nothing in fact, but you know. ;-)

So which song do you use as the featured song?? First or hit single?

I haven't chosen one...I didn't know I could.

If I did, I suppose "Rock and Raw" would be my all time theme song.

Wow, you have a lot of releases up there! I just listened to rock and raw. Very nice indeed. And what a great cover picture :-)

In the album edit screen you can click a star symbol next to a song to feature it. I think it's a rather new feature.

I also had a listen to your ep again. Those songs really fit well together. Still leaves me wanting for more.

I forgot I did three "do-overs" already, so here is my newest 3P (see previous postings for explanation):

The Do-Overs, Vol. I (3P).

I have to say these three recordings may be among the best I've ever done on my own.

Songs: "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe"; "All Summer Long"; "Born To Be Blue".

If I had another do-over, I'd rerecord the first lines of "All Summer Long" to "I met her on the boardwalk, a time a sure recall...". That's how I'll sing it from here on out. It was pointed out to me that if she meant so much to me than why can't I recall her name? Good question.

I cannot upload stuff to BC anymore (or soundcloud). Don't know why.. Getting help from their helpdesk didn't help. I didn't have troubles before. It seems to be my internet connection or something. I have tried uploading from both PC and Mac using various different browsers. :(

Anyone else experiencing sudden problems?

I had no problem the last time I uploaded.

Is your account current? (Although I am not sure that is an issue as before recently I hadn't uploaded anything in twelve months or so.)

I can upload to both bandcamp and souncloud from another internet connection.. so, it is save to say that it has something to do with my provider/internet connection/settings.. Weird thing is.. I used to be able to upload, and I do not remember changing anything on my end.
