Just curious;would you listen to this kind of intrumental music?

Post by guitar fan » Sat Oct 24, 2015 11:28 am

Hi
This is Norbert Krief ("nono" for all of us here), a well known french guitarist.I saw him playing live 35 years ago with his band,
"Trust".
This video, a medley, is a combination of original instrumental tracks that were never recorded on CD's..
I asked him, and he replied! He never found the time...
I could listen to his music 24 hrs a day.

Not my cup of tea but I'm old fasioned anyhow. I liked 1993's intro but hit the stop button soon after the guitar solo began.

Thanks for listening Jim.
The final theme is my favorite.

Yes. That's fantastic. The man understands the guitar. I would like more structured songs with lyrics (I'm a three minute rock and roll song guy), but, as far as playing goes, I love it!

Very nice guitar work. I always appreciate the technique of these sort of guitarists but like Sean I prefer to hear their work within the context of songs.

EVH's work with the original Van Halen and Dave Lee Roth is the high point for me!
