Windows Computers - Capturing An Issue

Post by Jim_Fogle » Sat Aug 10, 2019 7:29 pm

Every now and then stuff happens. If you use a computer running a Windows operating system there is a way to collect information that might help your DAW provider, plugin developer or other software creator find and fix the issue.

The chief developer for the DAW, Cakewalk by BandLab/Sonar, created a forum post that provides a lot of backstory and information about error reporting. I thought I'd share it with everyone after reading dickl's post about a plugin hanging his DAW.
