Thanks Steve :)

Nah, I don't get a mention but he does call it delightful!

Apparently he played something a few weeks ago by the guy who actually wrote the song and Rebsie contacted him and said she knew the bloke and had done a cover of one of his songs. Mr Maconie agreed to listen and played it.

Cheers

My five-year-old niece came to the house the other night with my brother and asked if I'd play No Sera Largo for her.

My twelve-year-old niece (the little one's sister) had no interest at all.

Probably not worth shouting too loud about but I just noticed my latest song, Books, is No 15 in the Sounclick acoustic chart. Cool! Never took any notice of these charts before but noticed it said soundclick hot 100 song next to it in my soundclick page & went & had a look.

I'm a wee bit chuffed!

King's Ransom was on Marvel Noise. This guy REALLY likes comic books. I listened and didn't hear my song, but this guy knows way too much about Marvel comics, http://music.podshow.com/music/listener ... 6e36d6a3de#

Received this email:

Greetings! I'd like to feature your song "Giant People" on the Jamstudio MySpace page during the month of May. Do I have your permission to use the song?

Of course I said, "Yes!" :D

I did an hour long spot on Chorley FM (Where the listener comes first) and the dj has since been playing a couple of my songs.

And... since he has been playing my song I have now got an invite to play at a nearby folk festival. I have been asked to do a workshop on songwriting on Sunday the 8th of June at the Alison Arms in Coppul, Lancashire.

No pay. Apparently the thing that impressed the organisers and got their interest was the Last Man on Earth song project. I have to do 4 or 5 songs and explain how and why the songs came about. Should be fun. I might use Powerpoint.

Digging up this old one for an odd (?) post:

Someone decided to link one of my & meuki's collaborations from a cool photo. Totally unexpected. The comments seem to be in Turkish (?).
