Haha, I was thinking the same thing. But merging the faqs would mean they get buried. Ultimately it might all become one massive merged gooey mess, but for now I'll leave it alone.

Until I add the H4 section.

Oops, did I just say that out loud?

I get a creepy sense that the response to the H4 will be extremely lackluster compared to the other units due to it's fuzzy identity.

There seems to be zero buzz here with you or I as the only exceptions that I noticed (could have missed others though), and I have to admit my interest has totally waned after using the TonePort a few times.

Since this changed from a Zoom to a Zoom&Line6 forum ...
what about including Boss recorders/drum computers too ?

For my needs is the next logical step the Boss Micro BR not the H4.

Zo, I had to check out the unit that Armin mentioned; looks cool. It would be cool if this place had platform specific areas for whatever is out there in the land of Home Recording. The Zoom identity will always be the foundation of how it all started for the site and most of the regulars.

What about just renaming the Tips and Tricks section to "Tips and Tricks" making it generic? The ideal thing would be to have the MRS tips in that the MRS area, etc... but that sounds like a bit of work.

Ah ha ha ha... I'ved used that dog! Eight tracks on a regular cassette tape!

I use to own a Tascam 424 so we'll need a section for that. What was that proprietary noise suppression called? Oh, I think it was “sucky”. Ah yes, we’re so advanced and superior now with our skinny lifeless digital recordings! Lol (...just playing to the old-schoolers)

Well I got merger fever, so I combined the old FAQ sections with their related sub-forums. I feel like putting up one of those Please Excuse Our Dust signs.
