Sorry for your loss Dick. We lost our Cookie in October of 2014. Also had to make that difficult decision. Yours is a fitting tribute to your friend. Your voice really sounds cool in this mix with that folksy, soft rock strumming. Nice job.

Thanks Roy.

I'm sorry for your loss too. It's a dreadful decision to have to make but unfortunately necessary.

Thanks for the listen/watch and comments Roy.

Cheers

Dick

A fitting and beautiful tribute to your friend. We grew up with rabbits at home, and they definitely were part of the family, so I can fully relate to your loss.

I haven't been around that much but a belated thanks for the listen and comments.

It's been a tough year hasn't it?

Beautiful song! That's some quality pattern picking and a nice clear recording. Sounds like an open tuning? Drop D maybe? The celeste and plucked strings are a perfect addition. Sorry about your dog. We definitely get way too attached to them. lol...sounds like he was wailing listening to your playing!
btw- this reminded me of some vintage Pink Floyd.

Thanks Mark :)

It's open D DADF#AD. My favourite open tuning. I use it a lot!

We definitely get attached to our pets. Whether we get "too" attached is another thing ;) He could be a absolute pain but I still miss him.

Pink Floyd? That's an interesting comparison and not one I've heard before.

Cheers
