Obligatory Ukulele Song ~ indie/folk ~ R24

So my wife bought a uke, but her arthritis is too bad to fret all the chords so now it's mine...

And behold!

I liked it!

Great uke playing and cool harmonica. Great guitar licks too. I really like the tone you got on the vox. Good lyrics. They contrast well with the happy uke sound. Good recording.

I like this, I think the uke leaves more space in the mix for the other stuff than the acoustic would, it really works. Nice guitar and bass playing and interesting drum programming too!

Thanks for the listen. No drum programming. It's my Yamaha DD-65 e-drum kit that I"m playing. It's kind of a lo-fi set, but it has some interesting kits.

Great! You "inherited" a new instrument and it sounds like you're having fun with it. Nice tune and great sound overall. I personally think a uke adds a sense of cheer to a song. It's the characteristic of the instrument. Kind of like a banjo. Cheery. ;)

Brilliant! Nothing was lacking in this except an image of you on a sandy beach somewhere. Great song.
