Boy, it just gets quieter and quieter around here...But I'm still here, cranking out the hits from my basement Jam Lab. :D

I love the jaunty melody and beat of this. Absolutely great! The instrumentation is really cool too. They lyrics are good and so is the vocal delivery. It's has a real garage band quality to it that you don't want to lose. It's half the charm of it.

Great work.

Don't worry about how often you may post. These are the desert years of 2090.org.

Another good one! The groove has a really cool retro vibe and I too like the indie-style production

I like the message of the song, the music sounds to me a bit like Iggy Pop, say 'the passenger'. Well done. It sounds on the threshold of clipping though, are you really hitting the red with your levels?

I thought 60s when I heard it.

It has that raw energy about it that you're very good at. As Sean said, don't lose it.

Loved the lyrics :-)

Cheers

Been a while for me here to "Hear" some ZOOM! This ones cool. Unassuming straight ahead rock that once again reminds me of your Neil Young style. Especially liked the guitar solo. :guitar: Nice little outro but I thought it coulda been a bit longer.

Hi. I won't comment on the lyrics as they are religious based, but I like the music and the production. I was thinking the same in that your voice reminds me also of Neil Young.

Thanks for listening John. The lyrics are NOT religious based, but I do like that there was enough ambiguity in them that you got another interpretation. The song seems to me to be about the messages my parents gave me as a child and how I had to let them go because they were theirs and not mine.

I don't intentionally set out to write a certain song, mostly my process is to jam and let what lyrics come...come. Maybe it's how art therapy works, reflecting my subconscious. I don't know.

Nice! Good lyrics and you have a bouncy rhythm that made me instinctively tap my foot and bob my hand. The bass line and chord progression reminded me of "if I had a hammer", but the melody was totally different.
