Everything Must Go ~ original Americana ~ R24

Post by Lungfruit » Sat Sep 29, 2018 6:37 pm

Like Sean, I'm always going back to unfinished projects and giving them a new life. I really don't know how professional (or otherwise) musicians can work on a song for weeks or months at a time. After a week I have to put it away because I get sick of it.

Anyway..I"m still having fun with my banjitar.

I'm having trouble connecting to SoundCloud. Rats as I love me some banjitar!

Second time is the charm. Interesting song and fun to listen to. Reminds me of Neil Young back in the early seventies. The bajitar adds a lot to the song, at least to me. Hard to believe this is a rework of a song from the vault. You've got some good songs collecting dust. I thought the drum track really brings all the different elements of the song together.

Thanks for sharing!

Sorry I'm late to the party. I was sick last week.

Very laid back and cool. I admire how you can write about that sort of topic. It worked. Music sounds good. Great guitar, especially electric during break. The drums fit in nicely.

And, yes, why start from scratch when there is so much left over in the vault?

Good one.

Although it sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom I really like the song.

A little too lo-fi for me this time but the basics are good.

Cheers

Thanks for the listen Sean & Dick. I think alot of people would say my stuff sounds lo-fi. I"m not sure what makes it sound that way.

Jim,
Thanks for listening. No drum track. It's me on an Alesis e-kit. I have yet to take the time to learn how to program drums. I like the banjitar also, it seems to flesh out the song.
