Truth in That ~ original blues ~ R24

Post by Lungfruit » Sat Feb 09, 2019 7:24 pm

I'm taking a little break from my musings on aging & the passing of time. This started out as a little blues tune on my acoustic, but I added some bass and drums..

Very nice. Kind of reminds me of Bob Dylan.

Fantastic!

What a great song. I love the "truth in that" part. Very clever. Great lyrics otherwise too. I love the tone you have on your songs (Eq?). The recordings really do sound like a garage band. And I absolutely love the electric guitar bits, especially that killer break.

Outstanding recording. Well done.

Thanks Sean. I was going for the "grungy" sound on this one. The vocal effect is called "grunge" which I like a lot.

Beatnik ~ Thanks for listening. Bob Dylan? :D

I agree with Beat. I hear a lot of Dylan in this. This is one of your best IMHO. Much energy and thought in the lyrics. Great!
