Nice catchy upbeat number. That's a standout vocal performance! It seems mixed well. I like when the guitars kick in around 1:09 and the tempo change about 1:50. Nice work! Glenn

M.T., this has got it all for the new sound. The verses are almost flat lined delivery and then the chorus kicks in with a very catchy and upbeat melody. It's really great work.

Edit: At first I thought the hesitation effect distracted from the catchy melody in the lyrics but upon further listens I think it might be the "thing" that distinguishes this song from the other pop songs. It has a "Crimson and Clover" effect and that was a huge hit back in the late 60s and that hesitation effect is what we kids would imitate when singing the song.

Great recording. This could be a hit. I hope you are getting out to publishers, etc.

p.s. The video is pro quality too. You are indeed living the life in that tropical local.

Thanks for checking out my song and for the comments!

@The Cracks - Indeed, the tremelo / hesitation -effect is the main hook of the song, can't leave that out! :) (I'm going to look up the Crimson and Clover-song).

As to your "getting it out to publishers"-suggestion.. do you have ideas on how to go about doing that?

Cheers the listens, appreciated!

Once again a really well put together video for a catchy and well produced song.

The hesitation is an interesting device. I wasn't sure about it but by the end of the song it seemed quite natural!

Cheers

Here is link to video: Crimson and Clover.

It was a #1 hit here in the U.S. in early '69. We loved imitating the end part.

You can find a million books on how to find a publisher and ten million websites. The first place to start, as always, is Youtube! :metal:
