Looking For The Low ~ original rock ~ R24

Post by Lungfruit » Fri Jul 14, 2017 6:27 pm

Greetings fellow Zoomers! I recently purchased the Electro Harmonix C9 pedal which models various classic keyboards. I was inspired by the "mello flutes" setting.

I like the song and the flutes sound cool. The drums need to come up in the mix it seems to me. Vocals are good but maybe a tad low. Good lyrics. Nice little electric guitar solo. A nice song.

Nice song and lyrics. Very "Beatle-esque" to my ear - esp. the beginning.

Seems like everything is pretty much centered in the mix, especially the drums. I'd play with the panning some to create some space in the middle for the vocals, and maybe the drums would sit better with a little spread.

Cool sound, can the pedal also do organ emulation? Agree the vocals are a bit too low.

It does do various organs. Check out the video on you tube. It's a cool pedal.

I was listening to this in my car the other day and I thought the opposite - that the vocals were too high in the mix and I almost scuttled this mix in favor of less vocals.

Sean, still_fiddling, ps02 - thanks for listening!

Lucy in the Sky :)

An interesting sound and, as always with you, slightly left field lyrics and approach.

Cheers
